Hemodynamic Cardiac Profiler -continued -

The profile of the left atrial and ventricular filling curves and the associated ECG of a cardiac cycle, reveal not just relative stroke volume change from systolic to diastolic phases, but more importantly have distinct shapes and slopes that correlate with identifiable muscular, valvular, vascular and other anatomical abnormalities, that may exist, and that may gradually develop or change over time.

Curve profiles for the young differ from the ageing.

Curve profiles of healthy hearts differ from cardiac diseased hearts.

In general curve profiles differ over a wide variety of cardiac disease origins, resulting abnormalities, and their impact on the condition of the heart over time.

They are now all revealed in a simple and easy to obtain curve profile of the atrial and ventricular filling cycle.

For the first time physicians have access to this important haemodynamic data in such early stage of the diagnostic process, without having to resort to invasive techniques with their associated risk, or complex and operator dependent imaging that require the patient to be either stationary or supine.

The Hemodynamic Cardiac Profiler fills the need to provide additional diagnostic data, early on in the clinical examination of a patient's suspect of cardiac disease, which may eliminate the need to wait any longer for scheduling more complex imaging, or to perform invasive techniques to retrieve that same haemodynamic data, while maximizing the chances of capturing data related to intermittent symptoms.
